The Skirt Outlet was founded from a desire to provide affordable, classic and comfortable long skirts for women and girls, without hours of shopping disappointments. We are committed to providing a real alternative to today's extreme fashions and yesterday's out-dated look.
Founded in 2008, The Skirt Outlet started out as a retail brick-and-mortar store in Eureka, Illinois. As word spread about the store, The Skirt Outlet began getting calls from out of state, requesting skirts to be shipped to them. This website was thus founded to meet the needs of those who were unable to make it to our store. However, we still welcome all customers to come and visit our retail store in Eureka!
Please Note: Any orders made online can be picked up at our store in Eureka. We offer this option to save you on shipping costs.
NEW CLOTHING LINE: We are currently working on developing our own line of clothing. We are expecting our first shipment of skirts and split skirts (also known as gauchos) to come from a manufacturing company shortly. The clothing brand name is "Rylee Ella."

Shipping Information:
***All orders are shipped via USPS Priority and are guaranteed to arrive within 5-8 business days.
***Shipping charges (inside USA): $8 for 1 skirt, plus $2 for each skirt added to your order. In-store pick up is free!
***Shipping charges (IL): $6.50 for 1 skirt order, plus $1.50 for each skirt added to the order. In-store pick up is free!
***Shipping charges (International): $27 for 1 skirt order, plus $7 for each item added to the order. In-store pick up is free! Please contact us for discounts we offer to those ordering at least 6 skirts.
***Shipping Charges for EXPRESS Orders (Inside United States only) - $26 for 1 skirt order, and $9 for each additional skirt added to the order. You must call us for this option, as we are only open a few days a week and cannot offer it every day.
***If you choose Store-pick-up: You are responsible for picking up your items within 2 weeks of your online order. Please contact us at skirtoutlet@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
A. Returns are at the customer's discretion, but skirts must be returned in new condition with original tags and packing slip. If you no longer have the packing slip, please click here to print a return form. Please ensure the item(s) sent back are through a traceable and /or insurable method as The Skirt Outlet is not responsible for any shipments not received. Original shipping & handling charges are non-refundable. We would be happy to refund your shipping costs to return it to us if the item is damaged or defective, but we can not refund express shipping if you choose to send it that method. We recommend adding delivery confirmation when sending it back to us, as we can not be responsible for packages lost in the mail.
B. All the items in the "Final Sale" section are final. No exchanges or returns allowed.
C. Customers are responsible for return postage. Shipping charges are not refundable except on orders that we shipped incorrectly.
D. If a customer decides to exchange an item(s) for a different size or style, you have to return the item to us at your own cost. You also have the option of returning the skirts to our store in Eureka.
E. All returns must take place within 14 days of receipt of items. In the rare event that you find one of your skirts to be defective, you must contact us within 30 days in order to receive compensation.
F. To insure that the exchange skirts you want are still in-stock, please place another order online for the skirts you want in exchange. At checkout in the message box, please type in (1) the order # of your first order, and (2) mention �this is an exchange.� As a gift from The Skirt Outlet, we will refund your card $5 when we process this exchange order. This offer is limited to ONE time exchange only, and is not applicable to those who choose in-store pick-up. You must place this exchange order within 14 days of the date you received your order to qualify for the $5 off.
F. The Skirt Outlet is NOT responsible for items lost in the mail. We provide you with a tracking number so you can track your package online until it reaches its destination. If you wish to purchase insurance, please contact us, and we will add it to your total for $2.
G. Please note that our online discount coupons/promo codes do not apply to your exchange items. The $5 refund we give for exchange orders cannot be used in combination with our promotional coupon codes.

Q. Does the The Skirt Outlet store in Eureka offer more skirts than are pictured on www.theskirtoutlet.com?
A. Although most of our skirts are on our website, we do have a few that are not. This includes gently used skirts for $5-$15...which is another reason why we welcome visitors!
Q. How often does The Skirt Outlet come out with new skirts to add to their website?
A. We try to add new items frequently. If you would like to be a part of our email list, go to our home page and you can sign up there to receive notices of new arrivals and couons.
Q. I found a skirt I like but my size is gone. Do you ever restock sold-out sizes?
A. That depends on the skirt. If you find a skirt that is sold-out in your size, please contact us, and we will let you know if/when we can get that size in again. As a general rule, if the skirt says (out) by the size, we can't restock.
Q. Does The Skirt Outlet sell anything besides skirts at their retail location?
A. YES! We have small gift items, including unique cards, hair accessories, pacifier clips, burp rags, taggie blankets, etc. We also are starting a little girl consignment section.
